About the school
Fremantle Educare Centre has been in existence for 23 years and is now under new management and has been recently renovated. The school is registered with the Department of Education and our curriculum is CAPS aligned. Our staff is qualified and experienced.
We offer a safe and secure environment for all our learners with cameras all around the outside of the building as well as inside each of our classrooms. Our drive in drop off allows for ease of access into our reception hall.
Transport is available on special request depending on your area.
Saturday Day care is available on special request.
We are Covid-19 compliant and follow all protocols. Our isolation room has its own private entrance and exit for parents to receive their children. This room is only used for learners who have been identified of showing symptoms of Covid-19. The sick room is a separate room for learners should they feel unwell.

What we offer
The classrooms and indoor play area have air-conditioning as well as televisions for interactive learning. Our outdoor play area is covered and fenced to provide shade from the heat as well as safety. We offer freshly prepared meals every day. The computer class uses tablets and smart board technology for our Grade RRR- Grade R’s. We use technology to enhance our educational programme.
Each learner has their own work space to maintain social distancing at all time. We have separate girls and boys bathrooms.
We also offer online lessons and guidelines for learners while following the CAPS curriculum. Times are from 12:30pm-5:00pm on request.
We pride ourselves in quality care and education and understand the needs of our learners focusing on each child as an individual. Our learning approach focuses on the holistic child meaning, the child as a whole, and we strive to grow and nurture each learner while reaching their milestones.
We focus on readiness work, performing arts, developmental play, social development and well as computer science all while having fun. We provide quality education and a structured program for all our learners from Babies to Grade R.

PROTOCOLS FOR
COVID 19
- No parent/visitors are allowed into the school
- All screenings are done in the morning with 1 parent present
- Temperature checks are done at scheduled intervals throughout the day
- Social distancing is maintained at all time
- Each leaner has his/her own desk
- Isolation room
- No sharing stationery or any equipment
- Sanitizing done throughout the day
